Description
RN - CVICU
Assignment Details
- Travel RN position in Denver, Colorado
- 36 hours per week
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
Unit Overview
- Pediatric cardiac ICU with 10 beds
- 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Weekend schedule: 4 shifts per 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- CVICU (2 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Peritoneal dialysis experience
- CRRT skills
- ECMO bedside experience
Clinical Focus
- Post-operative cardiac care, including inotropic and vasopressor infusions, IV fluids, chest tube management, and post-sternotomy/open chest care
- Moderate sedation
