RN Inpatient Rehab

Job Overview

Location: Herrin, Illinois

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Rehabilitation (2 years of experience)
Rehabilitation experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Helpful but Not Required

Stroke certification is a plus due to a high neuro patient population

Role Summary

Provide nursing care for patients in an inpatient rehab setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Educate patients and responsible persons
Monitor patient condition and report changes using nursing judgment
Maintain accurate medical records
Support a healthy workplace through professional communication and conflict management
Participate in continuing education
Meet core measure responsibilities related to patient care
