RN Clinic

Overview

• Contract role
• Specialty: Medical Group Operations
• Setting: outpatient cardiology clinic
• Location: Sheboygan, WI
• Shift: 8-hour day shift, Monday–Friday
• Hours per week: 40
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Clinic (3 years of experience)
• Clinic experience within the last year
• Experience in a Clinic setting
• Cardiology experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• CVICU experience
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Cardiac Stepdown experience
• BLS
• ACLS

Clinical Experience / Skills

• Comfortable working with adult cardiology patients, including CHF, chest pain, pre/post Cath Lab, post-CABG, post-valve replacements, pulmonary hypertension, peripheral artery disease, EP patients, and some stress tests
• Able to work in a very fast-paced clinic with 15-minute patient intervals
• Experience with procedure authorization, order entry, patient education, in-basket management, abnormal lab follow-up calls, and phone triage
• May occasionally assist with IV dobutamine for stress testing
• May assist with rooming patients and obtaining EKGs
• Will place Holter/event monitors; training can be provided if needed

Schedule

• No weekend rotation
• No on-call requirement
• No holiday requirement
• Rotating half-day off each week
• Up to 5 days of requested time off may be approved

Orientation

• Up to 2 weeks, depending on skillset and comfort level
