Skilled Nursing RN
Overview
- Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
- Employment type: Contract
- Schedule: 0.9 FTE day shift, 0630-1900
- Weekend/holiday rotation: Every third weekend and holiday rotation
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Long Term Care experience within the last year
- Long Term Care experience
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Work Expectations
- May be asked to float to other inpatient units based on census
Core Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state practice laws
- Document care according to standards
- Develop, initiate, and carry out individualized plans of care, including patient and family education
- Participate in unit or department performance improvement activities
- Support other units or departments with clinical expertise as needed
- Use critical thinking to promote patient safety and patient experience, and escalate concerns appropriately
