Description
RN
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts
Setting
- Adult cardiac intermediate unit
- 20 private, monitored beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- CVICU experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- CCRN or PCCN
- Experience with ICU assignments
- Experience with ventilated patients, temporary pacemakers, Swan Ganz catheters, external pacemakers, PICC lines, midlines, CVCs, arterial lines, CPAP, BPAP, heated high flow, IABPs, and multiple cardiovascular ICU components
- Experience with fast-paced, high-stress environments
Schedule
- Every other weekend to every third weekend
- Every other holiday
- No call or standby requirement
Floating
- Float to every level of care
- May float up to the ICU
Submission Requirements
- Last four digits of SSN
- Middle initial
- Requested time off
Additional Notes
- Local placements are accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Negative drug screen required
- Scrubs are not provided
- 12 hours of non-billable orientation
- Charge nurses and a house supervisor are on duty 24/7
