RN — Emergency Department

Overview

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel

Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule

Every other weekend
Must be available to work in all areas of the emergency department
No block scheduling

Unit Environment

101-bed emergency department
Typical patient ratio is 4:1 for medical patients
Up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
No floating outside the emergency department

Candidate Fit

Teamwork-oriented
Able to coach and give feedback in real time
Flexible and open to floating within the emergency department

Additional Notes

Navy scrubs required
Cerner is used for documentation
