Description
RN — Emergency Department
Overview
- Location: Asheville, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- Must be available to work in all areas of the emergency department
- No block scheduling
Unit Environment
- 101-bed emergency department
- Typical patient ratio is 4:1 for medical patients
- Up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
- No floating outside the emergency department
Candidate Fit
- Teamwork-oriented
- Able to coach and give feedback in real time
- Flexible and open to floating within the emergency department
Additional Notes
- Navy scrubs required
- Cerner is used for documentation
