RN PCU

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
3 years of cardiac step-down experience including heart catheterization recovery, cardiac drips, and post-operative open-heart patients
3 years of medical-surgical step-down patient care experience
Open-heart patient care experience
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
CVRA - Cardiovascular Recovery Area experience
Experience with Epic
Ability to provide care to ventilated patients

Schedule and Work Expectations

Typically works every 3rd weekend
Covers 1 holiday, subject to change based on census and staffing
No regular on-call requirement, though rare call coverage may be needed
May float to other units if needed

Clinical Considerations

Must be comfortable caring for ventilated patients if needed
