Travel RN - PCU

Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex, or Lasix

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with prostacyclins
  • Relief charge experience

Unit Details

  • 40-bed cardiac progressive care unit
  • Patient population includes CHF, MI, chest pain, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, and post-cardiac cath/stent, pacer/ICD, and ablation patients
  • Typical procedures include bedside cardioversion
