Job Overview

• Floating: Required to all inpatient and acute care areas
• Weekend: Required
• On call: Not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
• Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NBRC-RRT
• Experience working with Adolescent or Infant or Neonate or Pediatric patients
• PICU or NICU experience
• Intensive Care Experience
• Airways Management
• Vent Management
• BiPAP

Preferred Experience

• Trauma, Level 1 trauma, ER, or teaching/community hospital experience
• Children’s hospital experience
• High-frequency jet ventilator, high-frequency oscillator, EKGs, code response, and rapid response experience

Additional Notes

• Only 3 shifts of requested time off can be approved
• Candidates without an active Washington license should expect a start date 6–8 weeks out
• Orientation is on Mondays
• EPIC familiarity is preferred
