Nuclear Medicine Tech

Overview

Location: Bloomington, Indiana
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
Hours: 40 per week
Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and ER coverage in a 3-room unit
Patient volume: 13–15 patients per day
Travelers: First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Indiana
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years of experience)
Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (N) or NMTCB
PACS proficiency

Required Procedure Experience

Cardiac
Bone scan
Liver/spleen scan
Lung scan
Thyroid studies
Tumor localization
Myocardial imaging

Preferred Procedure Experience

Brain scan
Renal flow
SPECT

Additional Notes

Hours may vary depending on workload
Siemens equipment preferred
