Home Health RN Travel Contract

Overview

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse
  • Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Setting: Home Health

Role Summary

  • Provides and coordinates home nursing care based on physician orders, agency policies, and the nursing process.
  • Supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.
  • Typical caseload is 5–8 patients per day.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Home Health (1 year of experience)
  • Home Health experience within the last year
  • Hospice experience
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Driver's License
  • Experience with Homecare Homebase
  • Experience with OASIS

Schedule / Coverage

  • Weekend rotation every fourth weekend.
  • On-call every fourth week.
  • Territory includes Hull, Halifax, Kingston, Plymouth, Pembroke, Marion, Mattapoiset, and Wareham.

Productivity Expectations

  • 30 productivity points per week.

Charting / Systems

  • Must be proficient with HomeCare HomeBase and have used it within the last 6 months.
  • OASIS proficiency is required for RNs.

Additional Notes

  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
  • Scrubs are the dress code.
