Registered Nurse (RN) — Bettendorf, IA

Overview

• Temp assignment
• 13 weeks
• Day shift, 12 hours per day
• New graduates accepted
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Driver's License
• Experience with Epic
• Experience with medication drips including heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• 1 supervisory reference at time of submission
• Not employed by UnityPoint within the last 12 months
• Taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility

Preferred

• At least 1 completed travel contract

Clinical Notes

• Med-surg/telemetry role
• Traveler contributes clinical knowledge and skills in patient care and care management
• Common drips include heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone
• NBO: 16 hours
• Summer holiday coverage may include 1–2 of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
