Job Details

• Location: Griffin, Georgia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Hours per week: 40

Setting and Caseload

• Home health role with patient home visits
• Periodic office meetings
• Average patient volume: 5–6 patients per day
• Typical assignment load: 5–10 patients per day
• Types of cases: Start of Care and Follow Ups
• Productivity expectation: 30 points per week
• Territory coverage: up to 75 miles from the home clinic
• Local candidates are accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Experience in a Home Health setting
• Driver's License

Schedule Notes

• Weekend schedule varies by location and profession
• On-call is once a month
• Some locations may use a Baylor schedule of 4x10s, Friday through Monday
• Most assignments use a standard Monday–Friday schedule

Additional Notes

• No guaranteed hours
• Potential for hire at the end of the contract
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Travel between patient homes is compensated; commute to the first patient and from the last patient is not billable
