Description

ICU RN Travel Contract

Location

Chesapeake, Virginia

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12 hours
48-hour contract option available
Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays

Unit Details

ICU
Typical patient ratio: 1:2–3
Candidates must be willing to float to stepdown, the emergency department, or medical-surgical units to care for ICU patients being held

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Ventilator management
IV drip titration
Conscious sedation
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Neuro critical care experience
Stepdown experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
Experience with Epic

Compliance Notes

Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered
Local RN candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible
Submission requires a completed cover sheet, current NURSYS report, and all requested time off listed on the cover sheet
