Description
OR Registered Nurse
Location
Savannah, Georgia
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
- 10-hour shifts starting between 6:00 and 6:30 AM
- Call is required: one weekday per week and one weekend every 5 weeks
- Call response time: 30 minutes
Setting
- Operating room
- 19 suites
- Average daily volume: 30–40 cases
- Main service lines: orthopedics, neurology, general, and vascular
- May float between two main operating rooms at the hospitals, but not to ambulatory surgery
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- BLS
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Meditech charting system experience
- Scrubbing capability
- Neurology experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Orthopedic Surgery experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Meditech experience
- Scrubbing experience
Additional Requirements
- No local candidates within 100 miles
- No license hits; a current NURSYS report must be included with submission
- Full availability, including all requested time off
- Start date must align with compliance timelines
- Current references in the same specialty/modality
- Resume must include number of beds and trauma level for all facilities worked in the past 3 years
- Resume must include employment type for each role
- If PRN, resume must include number of shifts worked per month
