ICU Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
Hours per week: 36

Role Summary

Stepdown role that frequently floats to ICU and MedSurg units.
Floating is required across Stepdown, ICU, and MedSurg.
Candidate must be comfortable working in both Stepdown and ICU settings.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Additional Job Details

EOW required
21 beds
Non-titrating drips used
Common patient care includes cardiac, vascular, CIWA, peritoneal dialysis, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, home ventilators, wound care, nebulizers, and hemodialysis support
Scrubs: royal blue and white
Orientation occurs every Wednesday
EMR: Meditech
