Description

ER Nurse

Location

Charlottesville, Virginia

Schedule

Night shift
4x12 hours
19:00–7:00
36 or 48 hours per week
Weekends required
Scheduled days may vary based on staffing needs
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Assignment Length

18 weeks
Longer assignments may be available through 01/02/2027

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience or 2 years of Level 2 trauma center experience, including some pediatric experience

Required Certifications

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course issued by Emergency Nurses Association

Time-Off Restrictions

Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
Time off around Labor Day cannot be approved
Up to 40 hours of time off may be approved
