Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Utah
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a Level I, II, or III trauma hospital
• Experience covering evenings, nights, weekends, or call independently
• Experience managing acute or difficult-to-position patients
• Experience with GE CT/X-ray equipment

Clinical Skills

• ED and trauma patient care
• STAT exams
• Stroke and angiography protocols
• IV starts
• Oral and IV contrast screening and administration
• Power injectors
• Patient monitoring
• Safe positioning
• PACS/RIS documentation
• Routine X-ray
• Portable imaging
• Fluoroscopy
• C-arm imaging in the OR

Work Setting

• CT and general diagnostic radiography
• Potential floating to the Operating Room
• Rotating weekend shifts

Typical Procedures

• Routine and emergent CT exams
• Trauma studies
• Stroke imaging and CTA head/neck
• CTA chest for pulmonary embolism or dissection
• Renal-stone studies
• Contrast-enhanced exams
• Scheduled outpatient CT studies
• Routine diagnostic and portable radiography
• Bedside exams
• Fluoroscopy and surgical C-arm support

• Calm, adaptable, service-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication with physicians, nursing, surgery, and patients
• Comfortable transitioning between CT, ED, general radiology, and OR assignments
