Description
Behavioral Health RN
Overview
- Travel/contract inpatient psychiatric/behavioral health RN role in Easton, Maryland
- Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start date: 09/14/26
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Behavioral Health (1 year of experience)
- Behavioral Health experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating may be required within the specialty and to other care areas supporting behavioral health, including sister facilities
- On-call not required
Unit Environment
- 12-bed secured behavioral health unit
- Accepts voluntary and involuntary admissions
- Seclusion and 4-point hard restraints used
- Safety observation includes 15-minute checks, CVO, and 1:1 observation
- Environment-of-care safety checks completed each shift
Additional Notes
- Government-issued photo ID is required
- Two supervisory references are required
- Employment application/resume must be completed within 30 days of start
- Background, health, and facility onboarding documentation are required before start
