Description
ICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Belleville, New Jersey
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit: Adult and geriatric ICU
Key Job Details
- ICU patient ratios are 1:1–3 based on acuity.
- When floating to Medical Surgical/Telemetry or similar units, ratios may be 1:4–6.
- The traveler may float within scope to PCU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units.
- Every other weekend is required.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- Locals are accepted.
- Block scheduling is not available.
- Auto offer position.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Notes
- Requested time off and scheduling requests must be included at submission.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
