Description
Diagnostic Radiology
Job Overview
- Contract role
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Floating may be required throughout the hospital for portable imaging and to the OR
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Radiology Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- ARRT
- Operating room (OR) experience
- Experience with Epic
Work Setting
- Level II trauma center
- Primary stroke center
- Mostly adult patients, with some pediatric patients typically age 12+
- Department includes general X-ray, OR, pain, fluoro, ER, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient imaging
Orientation
- 2 days of orientation starting on Monday
- Additional 2 to 3 shifts of department orientation during the week
Scheduling Notes
- Weekend position works Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12-hour shifts
- Holidays are worked if they fall on a normal scheduled shift
- Time-off requests must go through the manager
- No on-call requirement
