Surgical Technologist
Job Overview
- Location: Vail, Colorado
- Schedule: Days, 3x12s
- Employment type: Contract

Role Summary
- Assists during surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile surgical field and providing instrumentation to the surgical team.
- Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Supports patient safety, room turnover, instrument preparation, and sterile processing tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NBSTSA certification
Key Work Expectations
- Knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique and AORN standards
- Ability to maintain sterile field integrity and respond to contamination risks
- Competency or progress toward competency with Tier 1 surgical cases
- Effective communication with the perioperative team, including participation in briefings, debriefings, and time out process
- Ability to work promptly, under stress, and to deadlines while caring for patients
