Description

LTAC ICU Nurse

Overview

  • Location: Columbia, South Carolina
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts
  • Weekly hours: 36, with option for 48 hours
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Long Term Acute Care (2 years of experience)
  • Long Term Acute Care experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of ICU experience

Preferred Experience

  • LTAC experience

Additional Requirements

  • Driver’s license or state ID is required to set up computer access and must be carried while on duty
  • E-Verify or attestation
  • 7-year background check completed within 12 months of start
  • OFAC, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG screenings
  • Education verification for the highest level of education
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Fit mask / respirator fit test completed onsite during orientation
  • Negative TB screening within 90 days of start
  • Drug screening within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption
  • Employment application with 7-year work history
  • Skills checklist
  • Internal evaluation if applicable
