Role Summary

• Scrub, circulate, and monitor in a vascular/interventional setting.
• Patient volume is about 25 cases per day.
• Call team covers both facilities, with most emergencies at the level I site.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
• 12 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring
• Current or prior experience supporting operating room procedures
• Active ARRT (R) credential
• Driver’s license
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab
• Work history/resume/employment history showing 12 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab experience
• Peripheral vascular experience
• Cardiac cath lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Level I trauma experience
• Iowa radiology license
• ARRT (CI or VI)
• RCIS/CCI
• BLS from AHA or American Red Cross
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience in a hospital setting
• 12 months of vascular procedure experience
• Cath Lab Technologist experience
• Surgical Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Peripheral vascular experience
• Cardiac cath lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Level I trauma experience
• Iowa radiology license
• ARRT (CI or VI)
• RCIS/CCI
• BLS from AHA or American Red Cross

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• Required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
• Orientation dates listed: 8/31, 9/8, 9/14
• Local radius rule: 50 miles
• First-time travelers are welcome
