Job Overview

Unit type: Labor & Delivery / LDRP
Bed count: 10 LDR, 3 triage, 2 OR suites
Typical patient ratio: 2 laboring patients per RN
Common procedures: Inductions, C/S, SVD

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
ACLS
AWHONN

Preferred Qualifications

Intermediate fetal monitoring

Work Environment

Shift staffing: Day shift includes 1 charge, 2 LDR, 1 nursery; night shift includes 1 charge, 2 LDR, 1 nursery
Equipment: GE monitoring, Novii Wireless, Spectrum IV pumps, CADD epidural PCA
EMR familiarity: Meditech
