CT Tech

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Evening, 5x8 hours
  • Hours per Week: 40

Role Details

  • CT Tech working with inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, and lung screening cases
  • Approximately 100 patients per day
  • Will float as needed, including to sister facilities
  • Open to locals
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Pending state license accepted

Required Qualifications

  • CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ARRT
  • Experience in an Inpatient setting
  • PACS experience
  • Contrast administration experience
  • Siemens Force scanner experience
  • GE scanner experience
  • Experience with Epic

Schedule / Assignment Notes

  • Weekend shifts may be available if willing and able to pick up open shifts
  • On-call may be available if willing to take weekday/weekend call
  • No block scheduling
  • Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off

Work Environment

  • Short-term acute care facility
  • Magnet, teaching, Level III trauma center
  • 672 staffed beds
  • Solid gray scrubs

Compliance / Pre-Start Items

  • Criminal background check required within 1 year of start
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
  • HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
  • Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
  • Tdap required
  • Negative TB screening required
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
  • Hepatitis B documentation required
  • Respiratory safety clearance required
  • Drug screen required within 1 year of start
  • References required
  • Skills checklist required annually
  • Pre-orientation modules must be completed before start
  • Photo for badge required within 48 hours of signing
  • Minnesota DHS fingerprint/background process required before start

Additional Notes

  • Parking is available at a flat rate of $0.55 per hour
