Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Open Heart surgery experience including CABG, Valve post-op, Impella, IABP, and CRRT
• Experience with Epic

Unit / Assignment Notes

• Target patient ratios: 1:2 for critical care and 1:3 for intermediate patients
• Traveler will be first to float at the facility’s discretion
• May float to medically appropriate assignments or support nursing care teams in other units, including high-risk respiratory/COVID areas
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• The contract may be canceled for 2 shifts due to low census
• The agreement may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine

Clinical Environment

• 16-bed ICU unit
• 310-bed hospital
• Designated neuro unit for ischemic strokes receiving TPA
• COVID-positive patients may be present
• Unit experience includes CRRT, 24-hour EEG, hypothermia post-cardiac arrest, and prone patients
• Level III Trauma Center
• Family-centered care with no restricted visiting hours
• Customer service is a top priority

• RTO approval is at manager discretion
• Submission must include the application and current Nursys report
