ICU Travel/Contract RN

Schedule

• Night shift
• 4x12 hours
• 19:00–7:30

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Role Overview

• 2 registered nurses needed
• Open heart experience required
• Target patient ratios: 1:2 for critical care and 1:3 for intermediate-level patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Open Heart surgery experience including CABG, Valve post-op, Impella, IABP, and CRRT
• Experience with Epic

Additional Assignment Details

• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Traveler will be first to float at the employer’s discretion
• May float to medically appropriate assignments or support nursing care teams, including high-risk respiratory/COVID units
• Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday
• Two shifts may be canceled due to low census during the contract
• Contract may be canceled with 2 weeks’ notice without fee or fine
• Not eligible for employee incentives

Unit / Facility Notes

• 16-bed ICU unit
• 310-bed hospital
• Designated neuro unit for ischemic strokes receiving TPA
• May care for COVID-positive patients
• Unit experience includes CRRT, 24-hour EEG, hypothermia post-cardiac arrest, and prone patients
• Level III trauma center
• Family-centered care with no restricted visiting hours
• Customer service is a top priority

• Request RTO with the initial submission
• No RTO will be added after the offer
• RTO approval is at manager discretion
• Submission must include the application and current Nursys report
