Occupational Therapist
Location: Houston, Texas
Setting: Long-term care / rehab
Employment Type: Temp

Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience in a(n) Long Term Care setting
Role Overview
- Screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develops and adjusts treatment plans based on patient progress
- Provides skilled rehabilitation treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive or assistive devices
- Documents treatment and discharge information in the electronic documentation system
- Communicates patient progress and treatment plans with the care team
- Participates in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
- May supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students
