Rural ICU/Med/Surg RN
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stepdown experience with 3 years of experience
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- Pediatric Med Surg experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
Role Responsibilities
- Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments across pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations
- Revise the plan of care based on patient response and evaluate effectiveness daily
- Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans, including pain management education
- Provide treatments and services within licensure
- Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical/manual tasks
- Communicate with the nurse manager, coworkers, physicians, and other departments as needed
- Coordinate and supervise patient care within licensure
- Maintain documentation standards, patient confidentiality, and respectful, professional interactions
- Address psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and families
- Safely and correctly operate equipment
