PET/CT Technologist

Job Overview

Location: West Bloomfield, Michigan
Employment type: Contract clinician
Schedule: Varied day shifts
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Certification in Nuclear Medicine
NMTCB or ARRT (RT-N)
AHA BLS
1–2 years of PET/PETCT imaging experience
Valid state driver’s license, as applicable
Proficiency with Siemens MCT

Key Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT imaging while following patient safety and radiation safety procedures
Communicate with patients, customers, and radiologists
Train new technologists and/or PC’s
Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment

Additional Notes

Local travel may be required
