Endoscopy Technician

Overview

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:45 PM, with a rotating day of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Floating: Not required
• Rotating shifts: Yes, depending on hours

Unit Details

• Setting: Endoscopy / GI / ENDO
• Unit size: 8 procedural rooms
• Patient flow: 60–70 procedures per day
• Patient ratio: 1:1 in rooms; 1:2/3 in PACU
• Patient population: All
• Bed count: 18 PACU bays

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year, with 1 year of experience
• Skills: GI technician endoscopy, Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing
• BLS: Required for onboarding; must be issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• License/certification verification: Required for onboarding
• Background checks: Required for onboarding
• Skills checklist: Required for submission
• Resume: Required for submission
• References: 2 references within 4 years of submission, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
• Education verification: Required for onboarding

Preferred

• SGNA or CBSPD certification preferred
