RN - PACU

Overview

Location: San Marcos, Texas
Employment type: Travel
Work type: Full time
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day; 4x10 schedule can be accommodated
Start: ASAP only
Temp-to-perm: Possible

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Critical Care experience
PreOp experience
EPIC experience
Perioperative RN Residency or recent OR/Perioperative experience
Preoperative experience

Patient Population

Notable Exclusions

No neuro patients
No cardio patients

Onboarding / Training

New hires attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days
Initial onboarding includes competency validation and department-specific competency validation
