Physical Therapist

Assignment Overview

Travel position in Port Charlotte, Florida
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Inpatient physical therapy setting
Acute care hospital with a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
BLS

Preferred Experience

ICU experience
Meditech experience

Schedule

Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Unit Details

Typical patient load is 9–10 patients per day
Productivity standard is 75%
Main equipment includes mobility equipment
Typical duties include PT evaluation and treatment

Work Environment

About 20 PT staff members
Day shift coverage includes PT, OT, and SLP
Collaborative, outgoing personality with strong communication skills is preferred
