Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Job Overview
- Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Hours per week: 48
- Ratios: 1:1
- Contract length: 18 weeks
- Specialty: High-risk Labor and Delivery RN
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience with Epic
Job Expectations
- Works every other weekend
- May float within scope to postpartum
- Must be open to a 100-mile local radius restriction
- Epic experience required
- Must be able to perform or support C/Births, postpartum tubal ligations, D&C, cerclage placement and removal, and waterbirth
Additional Notes
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
