Description

Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
40 hours per week
On-call required
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Experience / Screening

2 professional references within the last 3 years
Government-issued photo ID
Emergency contact form before start
Annual skills checklist
Annual competency testing as applicable
Annual background check and required state/federal screening
CORI release
Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry search
Pass/fail testing on first day of orientation
Color blindness testing before start
Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable

Health Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit testing required
Tdap vaccination
TB clearance within 1 year of start
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation
9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Annual COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season

Any scrub color is acceptable
