ER RN Travel Contract

Overview

  • Location: Lubbock, Texas
  • Specialty: Registered Nurse
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Setting: Short-term acute care
  • Facility level: Level II trauma center
  • Staffed beds: 379

Schedule and Work Conditions

  • Floating between units is not required
  • On-call is not required
  • Weekends are required: 6 weekends per 6 weeks
  • Block scheduling is approved but not required
  • Patient ratio: 1:3
  • 48-hour shifts are not approved

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC
