Description

MS/Tele RN Travel Contract

Overview

Location: Cottonwood, Arizona
Setting: Short-term acute care, teaching hospital, Level IV trauma
Unit: Med-surg/telemetry; traveler will float between two MS/Tele units and may be placed where most needed
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
First-time travelers: Accepted
Local candidates: Accepted
On-call: None

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Expectations

Must be open to floating where most needed
Will work in a flex pool
Strong med-surg/tele experience is preferred by the unit; ICU/PCU experience is also noted as helpful

Additional Notes

Standard med-surg/tele equipment is used
Liko lifts are in almost all patient rooms
Cerner is used for charting
Free parking is available
