OB/GYN Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• OB/GYN (2 years of experience)
• OB/GYN experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience with Epic

Key Skills

• Vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, lab result interpretation, and patient history/allergy screening
• CPR/cardiac arrest response
• Telephone triage, pharmacy calls, refill requests, medication refills, follow-up calls, biohazard waste disposal, and patient teaching

Patient Population

• Adolescents and adults
• High-risk pregnancies

Unit Details

• Average daily census: 14
• Approximately 28 visits per day
• Clinic setting
• Special procedures include IVF, GDM, and twins
• 32 hours of clinic orientation

Schedule Notes

• No call
• No float
• No weekends
• Scheduling based on clinic needs

Additional Notes

• RTO after booking is not allowed
• Scrubs are black and not provided
