OB/GYN Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Local candidates accepted
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- OB/GYN (2 years of experience)
- OB/GYN experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience
- Experience with Epic
Key Skills
- Vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, lab result interpretation, and patient history/allergy screening
- CPR/cardiac arrest response
- Telephone triage, pharmacy calls, refill requests, medication refills, follow-up calls, biohazard waste disposal, and patient teaching
Patient Population
- Adolescents and adults
- High-risk pregnancies
Unit Details
- Average daily census: 14
- Approximately 28 visits per day
- Clinic setting
- Special procedures include IVF, GDM, and twins
- 32 hours of clinic orientation
Schedule Notes
- No call
- No float
- No weekends
- Scheduling based on clinic needs
Additional Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- Scrubs are black and not provided
