Description

Step Down RN Travel Contract

Job Overview

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Shift: Nights, 4x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Employment type: Travel/Contract

Schedule Notes

Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
Every other weekend and every other holiday
Labor Day weekend off cannot be approved
Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Additional Considerations

Background check and other pre-start compliance items are required
Fit testing is required for patient-facing clinical roles
Flu vaccination/documentation is required for the 2025–26 season
TB screening, drug screening, and immunization documentation are required before start
