Respiratory Therapist
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts
- Weekends required
- Floating between campuses may be required

Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- High school diploma and college diploma or transcripts
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start
- Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting within 1 year of start
- Emergency contact form
- Employment application
- Skills checklist
- 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership role
- State license verification within 30 days of start
- NURSYS verification
- Education accreditation confirmation
- Background acknowledgement form
- Dress code and hand hygiene policy acknowledgment
- Confidential fraud, waste, abuse, and compliance reporting mechanism form
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate
- Ethics and compliance policies acknowledgment
- Physical exam
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Tdap
- Drug screen
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Ohio State variable schedule attestation for OR, if applicable to the assignment
Preferred
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Previous travel experience
