Description

LTC RN

Location

  • Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

Contract

  • 8 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Evening shift
  • 8-hour shifts

Setting

  • Nursing home attached to a hospital
  • 70 residents/beds
  • Common patient population includes dementia, frail elderly, and rehabilitation

Required Qualifications

  • RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Elderly experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Charting
  • Assessments
  • Charge duties
  • Medication administration
  • Clinical skills including IVs, catheters, and ostomy care

Unit Details

  • RN ratio: 1:20
  • LPN ratio: 1:20
  • CNA ratio: 1:8
  • IVs are present
  • No tele monitors
  • Floating required
  • No on-call requirement

Schedule

  • Block scheduling
  • Every other weekend
  • Must be available for at least half of the holidays during the assignment

Additional Notes

  • Any solid color scrubs; clean and professional
  • Must clock in and out at the facility
  • If previously worked for this employer, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
