Description
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Attleboro, Massachusetts
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 6-week contract
- Labor and Delivery unit with 15 beds
- Inpatient rooming with infants; newborn nursery used when needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- EFM
- AWHONN Beginner
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Advanced
- AWHONN Intermediate
Schedule Details
- Every other weekend coverage
- Charge role is not required or preferred
Unit Details
- Patient age groups: neonates and adults
- Communication method: SBAR
- Medication system: Omnicell
- First-time travelers are screened for experience and accepted
Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements
- MA CORI release and Massachusetts statewide iCORI clearance
- Completed background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry search
- Badge photo
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- N95 fit test within the last 6 months
- Tdap documentation
- TB screening
- MMR immunity documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
- Varicella immunity documentation
- Drug screen within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption
