CT Tech

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Location: Jacksonville, Florida
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Call: Rotational basis

Role Summary

  • Lead CT Tech position
  • Lead experience is required
  • Local candidates are accepted if they have strong lead experience

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
  • CT Technologist (3 years of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • 3 years of experience as a lead CT Tech
  • Experience in Supervisory roles
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada

Compliance and Onboarding

  • Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance must be on file before start
  • Fingerprinting cannot be pending at start
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Tdap vaccination within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
  • Negative 9-panel drug screen within 45 days of start
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation required
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
  • Orientation and onboarding tasks must be completed promptly before the first day

Additional Notes

  • Orientation is held on Mondays and Wednesdays
  • Call is rotational
