Description
RN Telemetry Float Pool
Overview
- Location: Salem, Massachusetts
- Employment type: LTA
- Schedule: Days/eves/nights; rotating schedule with every other weekend
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Parking: Free on-site parking
Role Summary
- Float pool telemetry RN covering multiple med/surg telemetry areas and other hospital units
- Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips
- Must be willing to float to 8 different units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Telemetry experience: 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience working as a traveler
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
Additional Notes
- Days/eves rotate with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contract
- Patient care may include ED border patients, acute mental health unit patients, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients
