Description
RN - OR
Overview
- Travel assignment in Idaho Falls, Idaho
- Start date: ASAP, but not earlier than 10/26
- Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Trauma experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR certification
- Burn experience
- Robotic experience
- Neuro experience
Schedule / Call
- Weekend call rotates every four weeks
- Call may be used to fill evening and night staffing gaps Monday through Thursday
- Typical call shifts are 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours
- Every attempt is made to keep combined work and call under 60 hours per week
Unit Details
- Operating room unit with 13 ORs
- Average surgical time is about 50 hours per weekday
- Weekend volume varies, with Saturday heavier than Sunday
Additional Notes
- Dress code follows AORN standards
- Meditech is used on the unit
