Registered Nurse — Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Job overview
- Travel/contract role in Matthews, North Carolina
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–07:15
- 36 hours per week
- 20+ week contract
- Floating required
- Weekend requirement: 2–3 weekends in 6 weeks
- Ratios: 1:5–7
- Unit is a 40-bed medical-surgical floor with bariatric and orthopedic emphasis
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- IV Start
- Telemetry
Preferred qualifications
- ACLS
Schedule and assignment notes
- 36 or 48 hours may be offered
- RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite
- Additional call-offs or RTO on unit may result in cancellation and DNR
- Travelers must be available all week during week one for hospital orientation
Orientation
- Unit orientation: 36 hours
