Description

Registered Nurse

Location

  • Minocqua, Wisconsin

Contract

  • 17 weeks
  • Nights
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • ICU experience preferred
  • Pediatric experience preferred

Unit Details

  • 20 beds
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios: MS 1:5 days, 1:6 nights; IMC 1:4; ICU 1:2; Peds 1:3–4
  • RN must be able to titrate drips and read rhythm strips
  • Charge nurse takes an assignment
  • CNAs are available
  • Respiratory therapy support is available 24/7

Schedule

  • Every other weekend
  • Every other holiday
  • May be placed on call in a low-census rotation
  • Block scheduling may be available

Floating

  • May float within the facility to ED, UC, and PACU
  • May float to Park Falls and Weston

Orientation

  • 1 day of computer-based training and hospital orientation
  • 1–2 days of on-shift orientation

Dress Code

  • Navy scrubs for RNs

Additional Notes

  • Must clock in and out at the facility
  • If previously worked for this employer, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
