Description
Surgical Technician / Technologist
Location
- Cody, Wyoming
Schedule
- 10-hour day shift, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Call required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NBSTSA
- Sterile Processing Technician experience
Responsibilities
- Assist in the surgical suite and endoscopy room
- Prepare the operating room for surgery
- Set up instruments and equipment for procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Support safety and infection control in patient care
- Assist with cleaning the surgical suite and related areas
- Check supplies and equipment for expiration and condition
- Support surgeons and other operating room professionals
- Assist with patient transport or discharge escorting when needed
- Work in Sterile Processing when needed
- Assist with orientation, in-services, meetings, workshops, and committee work as assigned
Additional Notes
- Traveler must live more than 100 miles from the facility
- Compliance documents must be uploaded 5 business days before start
